Good deal

A vending route just came up for sale about 30 mins from me. he wants 16k. 7 locations 13 machines total. says he grosses a little over 20k a year. also included is a 2003 honda odyssey car prob worth around $2500. no contracts with any of the places. some he has been with over 20 years.here is the list of machines he has. let me no what you guys think if it is a god deal or not.

Not a bad price if the sales figures can be verified, but the distance and the food worry me.  Cold food is not usually profitable unless it is a large account, and the combos won't be in large accounts.  Usual shelf life on food is only 7 days so you will have to service every week at least, and need a way to keep the food cold for transport.  A regular cooler may do it if you are not on the road too long.  The minivan may be a nice add-on if it's in OK shape.  If you are serious ask to see sales tax records and ride along to verify collections.

i call ask those questions today.i think he said he puts hot pockets and stuff like that in there.  idk how much shelve like they have. def want to ride with him and see the collections. will also ask for his tax returns.thanks again for your help
