Newbie looking for help restoring a Rowe cigarette machine

I'm new here looking for coaching on restoration of a Rowe cigarette machine. I think it is from the 50's but I am not sure. Not sure where to find a model number; the only thing I can find is a small brass plate with the numbers V8, 33033. The plate is on the cute where the cigarette packs come out. I need help on how to get the "pulls" that release a pack of cigarettes work. I have the coin mechanism and it looks to be in good shape.
