QuikVend
I've seen threads in the past where someone details how their routes are performing. I know I like seeing others success stories as well as seeing how different locations perform, so I thought I'd share as well. I have 39 locations with a combination of uturns, 1800 triples, a few northwestern/a&a doubles as well as some buzz bite machines, and 2" machines that are vending 2" gumballs and Peppermint patties in capsules. Also recently picked up a few shootin hoops that are on location. I figured I would post what type of location and the equipment used, how much I pull and how long since the last service. I can always add more later, if anyone is curious. 1. Department store #1 break room $65.75 Uturn 8 way 37 days 2. Department store #2 break room $26.75 Uturn 8 way 38 days (1st collection) 3. I also have a few locations that I wasn't able to get to during business hours, so I ended up stretching their service cycle out longer. I'll be visiting most of the rest tomorrow. QuikVend
Do your buzz bites do any good? I just found out about these things a few weeks ago. Might be a regional thing... I have 5 locations(6 originally) I sell them at. All of them were part of the first route I purchased. 2 do really well, the other 3 are pretty slow moving. I bought a case of them(just over 1400) a month after I started vending. It's been about 10 months, but I'm down to my last 200. You definitely need the right location for them. The 2 heavy movers I have them at are a freight shipping company and the other a semi and large truck wash. They cost .16 after shipping and sell for .50 so there is a decent return. They are a pain to load into buzz bites machines, I may end up capping them in the future. Thanks for the post! QuikVend
How do the peppermint patties do in the capsules? They do pretty well. I have 2 in each capsule with a .50 mech. I originally had one of the Peppermint patty machines at the 3 locations, but they failed almost immediately. I'm using a 24" tall a&a capsule machine for them. I found a sale on the patties at Ollie's, so I paid just about 4 cents each plus 5 cents for the cap, so 13 cents for product cost.
mppuzzled
Just did my first service on my 9 head beaver rack. Candy, toys and tattoos. Pulled 180 in 1 month. Definitely my best location so far! Best part is there is no commission either!Sent from my SM-N915V using Tapatalk

AMD Snacks
Nice, I haven't dabbled in full line, I'm currently working on getting an honor box route and my bulk built up. I started here in Feb, have about 30 bulk and 4 rack locations. Seems like you're really growing fast, how spread our are your locations?

They're all within a 35 mile radius of my house and most are in 2 big clusters. There are plenty of great spots still available, so I should be able to keep it fairly compact. Most of my full-line accounts are within my bulk route as well, so I can service them all at the same time when needed. I kicked around the idea of honor boxes, but I wasn't sure I'd be able to keep up with the time commitment with them. They seem to be a little more volatile as far as kick outs and locating needs. I do plan on getting into racks and toy vending at some point as well, probably once I get a majority of the machines I have now placed. How are your racks doing so far? Yea, I've almost doubled my route size in 2 months. I'm working full-time as well as a part-time job and leaving myself time to eat, sleep and service machines, so I'm still using a locator for now. Just dropped off the 11 Rodney just got me last week. Possibly have an in-person locator coming to town next week who also does some rack locating as well, just want to hammer out the details with him first. My goal is to make this my full time gig, so I'm trying to speed up the process by earning as much as I can now and pumping it back into the business for equipment, locations etc.
Determined
I understand! I would like this to be a full time gig some day too. I'm just reluctant to spend to much out of pocket on it. All I can say is good for you!
QuikVend
Yea, I've had some good luck and worked pretty hard to be in the position I'm in. I use all profits and any income from the part-time job to help grow. The full-time job is for all of my responsible adult duties.

QuikVend
Figured I'd post an update since it's been a few months. Up to 70 bulk, 11 full-line and 25 honor boxes. Also will be finalizing my deal for another 90 bulk locations on Thursday. Quite a bit of growth since I last posted on this thread. QuikVend
I have some that do pretty well. These particular ones aren't winners. #2 usually does about $25/mo, but there was a mech jam that nobody told me about so I lost out on sales. I normally run them on a 2-3 month cycle, so the collection is usually a bit higher. Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
