2 dumb rack questions

1. For a big 2" machine how many bolts are you guys using to secure them to a rack? I felt like 4  per machine was overkill, but 2 I wasn't sure if it'd hold. My rack are only a couple months on location and I figure I'd better figure this out now if I need to order more bolt brackets.

2. Do you change products on cycles, like every three months? Or only when it slows down? Or always keep a product in the machine if it's selling?

I'm not doing any 2" or toys yet but I can give my 0.25 cents on how I rotate my gumballs and candy. I only do products I can get from Sam's. In my experience I know that the top sellers in my area are in this order:

1. Gumballs

2. Skittles

3. M&M Chocolate

4. M&M Peanut

So if I do a double head, I start with gumballs and Skittles. If one of those doesn't perform, I switch to the next option down the line. Eventually I figure out what does good in that location and I might either adjust the number of heads to maximize profit or just relocate the machine to a better location. If I'm doing a big rack, I can figure out what does well in that location and then I'll have an experimental head where I usually try off the wall gumball flavors and sometimes I find one that does extremely well.
