indiana
I just had a location report an issue with a DN501E live display soda machine taking money, successfully registering the money, then after a button is pressed there's a "click sound," and then nothing falls (and no money is given back). I have not yet seen the issue myself, but was hoping this problem might sound obvious to the veterans here and you might be able to provide some tips for repair. As always, thanks in advance! AZVendor
Since there's no relay in that machine the click is maybe a dry vend. Try vending this yourself with the door closed and then open to narrow the issue down.
AngryChris
It's very difficult to diagnose from the way it has been described but maybe it was simply a dry vend as AZVendor mentioned (due to improper loading OR a bad motor/cam) or perhaps the rotor or oscillator broke? I'm betting that the switch is bent and it's causing someone to get two products followed by a dry vend.
rmorris1953
Not enough info at this point. But here is my stab at it. LOL The motor fuse in control board is blown (very common for S11 D) money is inserted selection is chosen nothing is dispensed. The money will be returned but payouts have a bent coin in it. The click is the payout trying to payback change. Vendor is froze up and nothing can vend because the product has exploded. Delivery chute is gummed up and product won't slide down, Delivery door stuck because of gummed up door. Double vend and then a dry vend Theft someone is reaching through the delivery door and pulling product out of rotor.
Amigo
If the problem is in column 1 (double) then I would check the linkage feom the motor to the bale. The nyliners have a habit of wearing out and coming off. Some times you can turn the linkage around or put a washer between the motor and linkage to tighten up the tolerances.
