gelaro
How likely is it that sodas would freeze in un-climate-controlled storage during a northern winter? Temps usually in the 20s-30s during the day and teens at night. I was concerned but I talked to a guy who used a self-storage unit in this area who said he never had a problem with the soda freezing. He said his unit was in the middle of the facility which probably helped.

The few times temps get in the 30s the route trailer has a small space heater in it & we have not had any issues. The warehouse isn't heated & we haven't ever seen freezing in the prolonged days of 30's & 20's. Hope that's helpful. Bvending
We have seem teens and even single digits the past couple of winters. We have never had a problem with freezing in the warehouse. However we have had diet drinks freeze and explode on the trucks. We plug in a small heater on the trucks at night in the winter. They still can get some slush but haven't had any explode since
Southeast Treats
I'm gonna guess here, if the unit is insulated and the temp is only below freezing for a few hours a night not too much of a problem. If you are getting into the 20's daytime you might want to do something to warm it up. If there is a light fixture maybe put a warming bulb in and leave it on during cold weather.... I'm in Florida so my problem is cans popping up from the heat right now.....
cvending
Climate sounds similar to mine. Trucks are kept in unseated warehouse at night. Only time we offload soda is when temps get below zero or low teen temps over the weekend.
