kai1836
glass globes? Some of the machines I bought are the old northwesterns with glass globes. Is there anything special about them I should know?

that1dude
I'm too scared to get them. I'm afraid I'll do something clumsy and drop it!
Quarter Master
They are older machines for sure.Might want to try to hunt up a couple of spare globes just in case. Also, put in a call to Northwestern to see if they still have replacement globes or if you can change them to plastic.Worth a shot.
markvend
Some of my Northwesterns have glass globes - I have only had a problem once in a police station when a juvie knocked one over and broke one side. I prefer plastic (or plexiglass) globes to glass. I plan to eventually change them all to plastic. They cost 7-8 a piece from Northwestern.
