Installing Usa tech Eport reader on Pepsi vendo

Hi All,

Thanks in advance .

To install eport reader on Pepsi vendo like in this picture.Can I just drill holes and use the template which comes with eport reader.

Do I need any special drill bit to use on plastic.

It would look better if you used the kit that puts the card reader in place of one of the buttons.

But to answer your question, no special bit needed to drill plastic and you can use the template that came with the unit.

You also have the option of changing the validator bezel to include a card reader, but that would be an extra part and adapter you would have to buy.

I bought the conversion kit , when using it do I need to  disconnect any wire of the button that I will be  using it for credit card reader or simply remove the plastic  cover of the button and then use the installation kit.

The instructions should tell you what to do.  Since your machine is electronic you can disconnect any selection switch you want and it will not affect any other selection.  In this case you want to remove a button and switch for a selection that currently has a second button also vending that one column.  You probably only have one column that is controlled by two buttons now so one of them is where you'll put the card reader.
