CajunCandy
Okay, what you can try to do is clean the head where coins go into coin mech, if cleaning it doesn't work then you will need a new one. Take coin mech off machine and there is five small screws holding it together, once you get it apart you will see the part that sends signal to board warm water and towel dry put it back together and cross your fingers! These blue coin mech's gives plenty of problems. order parts here. http://genesisvendingmachineparts.weebly.com/ good luck cajun
allen watson
That's a good price on the coin mech. Just buy it and slap it on. The last new one I bought had to be tuned. There is a tuning button on these and I did not write down the sequence. Capital Vending has the coin mechs and the tuning procedure. It might be worth a try to tune it before you pitch it. CajunCandy
If you have a spare coin mech, do try it! I would still take apart the nonworking one and clean it! I did that on a Genesis I picked up for free, same thing coins would go thru it and not register, after I cleaned it, coins would register on display. Sold that Genesis for $350, not bad for a freebie! cajun
