nabooth455 Posted October 5, 2016 Share Posted October 5, 2016 All - I have an old Dixie Narco soda machine with a Mars TRC-6800H coin mech. My machine doesn't have a bill validator, but there is someone with a Mars AE 2411 U7 unit near me for sale. Will this work with my current coin mech? I know I will need to cut a whole in my machine for this, and that isn't a problem. Just need to know if these two mechanisms will work together, and if so, what cords/connections do I need to purchase, as the bill validator doesn't come with one. If this validator wont work, can someone tell me an inexpensive one that would work (max $100 if possible). The location for this machine is very low volume (6-7 cans a day) so I don't want to spend much money on anything. lacanteen Posted October 5, 2016 Share Posted October 5, 2016 That AE2411 is an old gaming unit, and though it has a vending interface setting, I'm not sure it would work with a TRC-6800H. AZVendor Posted October 6, 2016 Share Posted October 6, 2016 Don't use the AE validators in vending machines because they can never be disabled by the machine if it runs out of change or sells out. In each of those cases the validator will just continue to take all the bills that people feed it whether change can be paid out or even if anything can be vended.
