Chkoolaid1
Hey guys, I got a call from an account today, a pop machine is not accepting coins. It's a Dixie narco 501E, I'm not sure what coin mech is in it and won't be able to check until tomorrow morning. The machine accepts coins, does not add credit and will not return the coins. When you insert a dollar it credits and works fine, will even return change in coins. I had the maintenance guy unplug the machine and plug it back in to try and reset it and it did nothing. Any ideas? I'll post the mech tomorrow as soon as I can get to the location. Thank you for any help!Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Bvending
Check to make there are no coins jammed in the coin mech. Look down the side of the mech for pennies, half dollars or foreign objects. These will cause coins to eventually back up to top of changer and act as you described
lacanteen
Coin chute jam above the changer. If you want to take a spare it could be: 12 pin 110VAC (TRC-6000) 15 pin 24VAC (TRC-6010XV) 6 pin MDB

My money is on the coins being jammed in the chute before they ever reach the coin mech.
AZVendor
Yup to all of that. Coins are jammed in the coin reject chute i side the coin mech along the right side of it. Remove the mech and thn remove the acceptor. Hold three fingers in your coin tubes so they don't dump out and then turn the mech over and shake it. It can take some work to empty that chute but make sure you get it all out.

Chkoolaid1
Looks like some dimes were jammed, thank you guys! For the 6 pin MDB, can I put in any MDB coin mech? Just to make sure, is this the 6 pin MDB? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
