lacanteen
Clean it so it's smooth. Better yet, replace it, it's less than $5. >>Do not spray anything in there or on there that is not a cleaner<< (no lube)

CajunCandy
I had trouble with machine shops with all the dirty air and oil. I'm a tight wade I pulled cleaned with Windex and it worked fine after. cajun
Chard
the problem isn't so much with a poor slide down the chute, but a gap between the chute and the insert. Dimes get stuck between these two pieces. If you can see the dime is actually stuck vertically between the chute and where it mounts to the machine and then if you look closely you can see another dime to the right of the visible one that is only showing its edge. So there is a gap between the insert and the chute that causes dimes to get stuck there.
