laip51
I have a Genesis GO-380 that came with route I just bought. There is a 2" hole on the slide out holding bill accepter etc. shaped like a "U" and lighted. I can't detect anything it does. Anyone with one of these machines know the purpose? Southeast Treats
If by lighted, you mean there is a 2 digit LCD showing, then that is your coin acceptor.... each time a coin is registered it will display a number (1 - nickel, 2 - dime, 3- quarter, 4 - dollar coin). You can check the function of the coin mech, and if you want to disable a certain coin you can push the small button next to display while the coin number is showing. To reset to accept all, pull the power plug momentarily. There is another small hole to it's right that gives you access to remove the screw holding the mech if you need to remove it for some reason. The acceptor and the change dispenser are separate units on the old Seagas. My sympathies, I got stuck with some of these too!!
