Determined
Anyone ever put a machine in a bail bonds office? How did it do?
orsd
Don't know how it is in Tennessee but here you would be squarely in the Hispanic ghettos/ barrios and yo no hablo Espanol.
Determined
Don't think I would have that problem here. It's a small town. I got the okay to put one in. Just not sure how much foot traffic they get.
Zigzag Vending
Sometimes the most unexpected place can be a great location. make sure to get a read on the employees favorite product. that could be the key.
QuikVend
Ditto what ZigZag said. All it takes its that one candy addict to make a machine worth it. I have a machine at a small auto repair shop. The owner asked about Reeses pieces after I placed it. I swapped them in on the first service and almost before I could screw the lid back on he pumped 2 quarters through. I can guarantee an increase in sales at that location.
zjtaylor
Put it in there. My biggest performers are low income type locations and bars. More risk though.
Determined
I think I will probably give it a try. I just hate collecting $3 for a month. I recently put a machine in a salon and it wasn't even opened yet. I wasn't to optimistic but I pulled $30 out of it after 5 weeks.
Zigzag Vending
Thats the kind of location you bend over backwards to keep. i had a thrift store (think locally owned goodwill) that after running 6 month figures through an average, each candy was AVERAGING $10-$12 A MONTH!! $32/MONTH!! It was a u turn and the 4th one was BBs. it did amazing too. then the place changed owners and they didnt like the looks and the spillage on the floor. so i pulled it, but mentioned that I would like to come back and show them a nicer machine (red and chrome 1800 that i just need a spill tray for) and they are cool with the idea. i give 10% to the local animal shelter from this one, but in my mind its worth offering another 10% to the new owner just to resecure the location. My next best does $22/month.
