vendnoob
I found an Astro double for $25 but its missing the keys. Is it hard to replace the locks? Is it a good machine?
Bravo Duck
Astro is an Oak that was made for a Ford gum distributor. Oaks are good machines. Its not terribly difficult to pick or drill these locks. Given that its a Ford machine and has no keys theres a reasonable possibility that its stolen. vendnoob
When it comes to Oak or Northwestern do the stands work on both or are they differant for each make?
Bravo Duck
I have some older Oak triple stands that will not work with older Northwestern bases. Northwestern stands will work for Oaks.
nepavend
Astro is a decent machine, just about the same quality as Oak and Eagle, they are frequently used for charity machines. My local Lions club has a lot of them out in my area. The price is reasonable at $25 given its in good shape. But like they said, be aware that it may be a "repossessed" charity machine and judge accordingly.
