cvending Posted February 17, 2017 Share Posted February 17, 2017 I have an ooooolder D/N 348-10 select single price can vendor. Over the last 2 weeks it has begun to give away free drinks. Same 3 columns, #2,3 & 5. It will vend multiple cans or drop cans until they jam the rotor. The motor brakes seem fine. During testing(depressing arm to activate motor) it vends one can only every time. I cannot get it to multiple vend. I have tried coin mech and credit relay. If they have soda syrup on them especially, the arm on the switch may go forward, but the switch will still be stuck in keeping the circuit engaged. Motor switches are cheap and easy to replace. When a switch starts to stick or fail, it may work some of the time, but not all the time. That would be consistent with your problem. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

The soda syrup made the brake work sometimes but would then vend the entire column at other times with just one purchase. I pulled the motor and soaked it in very hot water and let it dry for a day or so. It has worked well ever since.
