Chard
How frequently do commercial bunn and Newco brewers need to be serviced. Not for maintenance, but repair. I just got two different shipments in and every single one has either a bad solenoid for the fill valve or the temperature control unit is not working properly. This got me to wondering how frequently these parts go out. They're very expensive. Every repair on these things is $50 bucks. It would appear we'll never break even! lacanteen
I use Newco and have very few problems and find that the parts are very inexpensive. In fact, sometimes I have a difficult time getting to the $50 minimum order. The 2 most common problems I have is the high limit thermostats in the pour overs (a $3 part), and the water pumps in the 20:1 (a $22 part). Chard
Where do you buy parts for these?Sent from my SM-T350 using Tapatalk
lacanteen
I buy Direct from Newco. It might be a Canteen privilege. Here is another source: http://www.hhdonline.com/ They have a printed catalog as well. When we started a coffee division 7 years ago, I nixed Bunn due to the difficulty in obtaining information & parts.
