Hello I bought this machine off craigslist and know nothing on the machine. First I was trying to change price I finally got that after going in it and putting pass code in but now I cant get it to do multi price it only shows pr1.Any help would be great. Also its not cooling as it should I checked the thermostat and compressor and they are working is it normal to have to ad Freon in these?

The first thing you need to do is to verify absolutely that it is a 276E.  The second thing is to tell us if it has an SIID board in it.  I only mention this because I don't recall every navigating to pr1 on an SIID machine.  The set price function is "s-p", but making them all the same is just a matter of holding certain buttons if i recall.  I still don't know why pr1 would show up or how to disable it.

As for your refrigeration problem, you need to provide as much detail as possible.  Is there frost (like snow)? Is there solid ice?  If so, where is the frost/ice?  Is it only on one side or evenly distributed all over the evaporator?  Is there no frost? Are the lines cold anywhere?

It is common for decks to leak refrigerant and need to be recharged.  The vast majority of us have someone else charge them for us.  Your problem could be a number of things though.

Ok model number says 276E but the board is not the s11d as far as I can tell. As for the Freon it has no frost and the lines really don't get that cold the capillary tube is coldest of it all. Also this machine is a coke machine with dr.pepper logo it don't look like the other 276e machines in most pics I have seen it has flavor strips and buttons off to the side of them.

Sounds like you have Coke programming. Go to the Configuration mode (Con) and set C1 (or Con1) to 1 for multipricing.

I would like to say thanks to you all for trying to help me. Lacanteen you were spot on I came home today and tried what you said and it worked. I also picked up a bullet valve today and put in some Freon now the machine is cooling. Again thanks for the help.

How did you know what freon to use and how did you know what your pressures are?  This isn't something that just anyone can do without the danger of damaging the compressor.

I am using gauges the same ones I use on vehicles. I was only asking about the cooling part to see if it is normal to have to add Freon not because I don't know how to service it. However I,m glad to be  getting feedback and thanks to lacanteen I figured out the problem with pricing. Is there a way to tell what the temp is by pushing button or something?

There is no temp sensor on that model. It's all manual. And, It's not normal to have to add gas. If it's a situation like once a year, I wouldn't worry much about it.

No temp display on it and your low side pressure when properly charged and with all parts functioning correctly should be between 18-20 lbs with the door closed.

I wasn't sure about the temp thing just wondering. Didn't think it was normal to add gas. I put it on 20 so that if it leaks down it will take a little longer before it needs more.

It's not really normal. It's not like a car, that's why there are usually no service ports on most systems. Curious, how much gas did you put in? They hold between 8.5ish to 10.5ish depending on the age and evaporator.
