nam
I have several different machines and extra cannisters for all of them. Now a customer wants me to switch a product. I plan to just carry in a new cannisters filled with new product and make the switch. My wife says I can't just carry open cannisters with product into and out of the store. She's probably right again. lol I have totes that I got with some 800 machines as well as my Vendstars but don't want to go through all that just to swich out a cannister or two. Actually , when you use those totes there still isn't an individual cover for the cannisters - just the lids are closed on the tote. What methods are you guys using in switching your cannisters? The head of my business says we need to use clear kitchen wrap or aluminum foil over the top? Oh, and just a reminder to other newbies. Always look to see if they are giving away free peanuts before loading your cannisters with peanuts. Boy, do I feel stupid! nam
Beer980
Yea gotta love the free peanuts. I use a backpack to service my accounts. So if I was in your situation I would go about it this way. Set the vend size on the replacemet canister and place it into my backpack. Take whatever the candy bag that I am replacing it with and put that into the backpack. Go in and swap out the canister, put a large ziplock bag over the one you are removing securly with a rubberband, put it in the pack to take back out. Fill the new empty canister with a fresh bag of candy and be on my way.
dperry
When I switch a product, I pull the head and dump the contents into a bag and then put in the new product. The only time I might switch heads or cans is when I'm switching types of product requiring different wheels.
Jax Snacks
I carry 8 spare canisters in the van that are pre-set, labeled and ready to go. Jax
