at machine. bill mech conlux model c. blinking 4 x . error message says disabled by controller. doesn't take bills when door is closed either. any ideas? thx

If the coin mech tubes have sufficient coins in them then you need to use the Tube Fill mode to refill the empty tubes so the logic board knows what the tube coin count is. Power off and dump all coins out of the tubes. Install the mech and power up. Go into Tube Fill and drop all the coins in through the top of the coin mech so the machine can count the coins into memory. If that doesn't fix it then you probably have a bad tube sensor in the coin mech.

coins were very low.  bought machine on location and she basically emptied it.  I think once filled should be ok.  do u still think I need to do a tube fill or can just drop it in?  thx

Put 10-20 coins in each tube and see if that enables the validator. Even if it does you should still dump all coins and use Tube Fill for a good baseline.
