Robert Longhofer Posted April 6, 2017 Posted April 6, 2017 I am putting a vending machine in a non-profit museum. I don't plan on being full time (yet.....) with this. I did work as a vending machine tech for a short while, so I have a passing knowledge of how they work. I got a pair of 600E's from a bankruptcy sale, set up for bottles. Quickly found that small guys can't get much in bottles around here. So I switched it to cans. Everything seems to be working great. My problem is I want to put in water. After much searching, I found the only vendable water I can buy off the shelf around here is 12 and 24 oz Aquafina. Narrow column only. I played around the 12 oz, loaded 2 deep, with the can rod in the middle hole, it sort of works but the 2nd bottle drops just a few degrees after the 1st one, too close really. I can also get 24 oz Aquafina in a good package, I have not measured, but I suspect it will only be able to stack 1 deep, I may be wrong. Does anyone know how to set these packages up in my machine? Thanks, Robert
AZVendor Posted April 8, 2017 Posted April 8, 2017 The 12 oz bottles won't work. The 24 oz will work one deep. Take out the side shim and set the motor cam to one notch. It's best to have it in a middle column so it slides out easier.
