suncoast
Try this. It has worked for the last 35 years for me. Take 9 - 10 months Gross profit. That is it, do not pay a penny more only consider less. Anyone who thinks you can pay 12 months of total sales is fooling themselves. You will not make it, not in this economy you will be gone if you lose the account (or lower sales) at any point in 5 years. Work it out.
vendnoob
update. i went to look at all 3 locations today. location 1 hotel both pop machines are empty, snack machine is almost empty. the hotel is mad as hell because they havent been serviced in over 2 weeks location 2 has had no pop in over 2 weeks. location 3 has been out of pop sence september. if she isnt servicing them like she is suposed to the those contracts arent worth the paper they are writen on in my opinion. i think i will offer her $1000 for all three snack machines and go get all 3 of those accounts on my own. she made it sound like these places love her. the cant stand her. why would i want to buy an account with a worthless contract??? i know im not giving her $6000 of my hard earned money for accounts where they are pissed at the person that im trying to buy them from. im so mad i feel like this lady tried to sucker me. what advice can you guys give me on this??? coinvestor
These are the locations I love to buy. Offer the lady no more than about half what you could resell the equipment for (only the equipment she owns,). Don't pay more than $100- 200 each for the locations with third party equipment, consider this a locating fee. This will cover transportation cost and labor if you have to pull them all. If the locations have not kicked her out yet for this crap then take advantage of that. Service the heck out of the accounts they will be the happiest, most tollerant customers that will never kick out a vendor that tries to provide good service. On that note, make sure you are comfortable with the income numbers that she is claiming. Do they look realistic? Can they be verified? If she bought the machines new then check the non resetable counters, verify the purchase date by serial number with the manufacturer. You can get a good average from this. Make sure you ask upfront if the machines have been in that location since new otherwise they can lie later when they see what you are doing. Good luck, JD
vendnoob
i asked her if they kept good records(she says she didbut i dont believe her). i think im going to tell her ill buy the snack machines for $350 each but the location have very litle (if any at all) value to me with the way she left them seviced. locators fe of $300 per snack machine and $100 per 3rd part soda machine. which comes up to $700 for locations and $1050 for the 3 snack machines for a total of $1750
G-Vending
The location that have not been serviced I would go to contact person tell them that you bought the machines,And you will start servicing them as needed and give them good service. If you service them they will get over being mad.
