MidStateVending Posted May 1, 2017 Posted May 1, 2017 I am getting a "fail" error when testing D5 and E5. These happen to be the far right selections on the bottom 2 trays of this machine. When I "Test All Motor" it skips right over D5 and E5 ... as if they dont exist. Motors themselves work good when I switch them with other columns. I can only assume that the board is not programmed to read D5 and E5. Any ideas?
MidStateVending Posted May 1, 2017 Author Posted May 1, 2017 Yes. I am able to change prices. It also occured that D5 and E5 are the only selections that end in "5". The "5" on the keypad works fine.
AZVendor Posted May 2, 2017 Posted May 2, 2017 You might have a bad #5 wire to those motors. Get the manual out and find which wire on the back cab connector is #5 and ohm it out back to the #5 wire on the board.
Pmh61 Posted May 12, 2019 Posted May 12, 2019 I know I'm light years behind here on replying but I had a similar issue. It ended up being a power wire that is connected to one of the trays had broke from being pulled in and out over the years. Seems to be common depending on usage many of them (wires) are jumpered/daisy chained from one to the next through out the FSI machines. I fixed the top selection in my FSI 3132 because A3 wasn't working repaired it then my second row started working again B column
MidStateVending Posted May 12, 2019 Author Posted May 12, 2019 My motors still keep going out on that machine. I hate the way it is designed. You are correct it is the wires.... there is just one motor that I can not seem to fix no matter how many wires I try fixing (A2). Maybe I will check the B row wires.
