darkinthepark
I have an AP 123c that is vending properly, but doesn't always give the correct change. My bagged chips are priced at 70 cents. If someone pays with 3 quarters...it gives a nickle as change. If someone pays with a dollar bill, it only gives a quarter change..and not the nickel. Would this be a problem with the CA or the board? Or do I just not have something set wrong? I know the prices are set correctly so that is not the problem. I also know the CA has plenty of change in it.

lacanteen
Try a different changer. Under MDB rules, the payment device is simply told how much the credit is and what was vended. It's up to the changer to decide how to make change. **in the set-up menu, make sure change payback is set to "fewest"

AngryChris
I'm just wondering if there isn't enough voltage to dispense two coins. I'd swap the mech oout, test it, then eat the same mech on another machine. It is an odd issue.
darkinthepark
I swapped the coin mech with a different one and now the machine is giving proper change. Thanks for the help everyone.
