rookie1 Posted June 2, 2017 Share Posted June 2, 2017 I was having issues with ano ICT bill acceptor on a change machine and found an informative thread here . Vendors Tech suggested to replace it with a Pyramid brand unit. I contacted Alden and he was very helpful. Here are some pictures of the swap. I had to cut off 2 studs and drill 2 new holes to mount it. Other than that it was an easy changeover with the proper wiring harness. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

rookie1 Posted July 13, 2017 Author Share Posted July 13, 2017 I finally figured out how to put link in post. In this photo you can see the studs dont line up properly with the slots on the new reader. In this pic you can see where I took a cutoff wheel and nipped off the studs for the housing to sit flush. I used regular machine screws to attach, Im not too worried about my coworkers breaking into it, but im sure you could find some tamperproof screws of some kind.
