matthew0582
Very random but very often the display will go blank, the problem is the machine will still take the money but wont do anything after that.
AngryChris
Sounds like a bad board to me. Edit: when you say the machine "does nothing after that", are you saying you can't do anything at all or are you saying the display is the only thin g that won't work. If it's everything, then it sounds like a bad board. If it's just the display, the bevmax is known to have that problemif it's a bev3 or bev2
Walta
1 if you hold the CLR button the display will go blank for as long as the button is held. So a bad keyboard could be your fault. 2 The early software had the satellite menu but the software is full of bugs. If you have the snack satellite try disconnecting it. Until you can update the software. 3 Try removing the display cable from the harness and reroute away from the other wires. #1 did not seem the help, #2 did seem to help but not 100%, #3 seems to be working but it is too soon to claim victory. Does the display start working a few seconds after you open the door? Walta
Anacapa Vending
I had a similar issue and it ended up being the gfi cord cap that plugs into the wall.
NE VEND
display going blank issue is caused by interference on the mdb bus from the display cable. separate the display cable from all other cables and route it along the top corner of the cabinet (add adhesive zip tie mounts or simply tape it)
