Magiccity726 Posted December 21, 2017 Share Posted December 21, 2017 I have a crane model 148 and the coin mech is full of change but machine says “please provide exact change only.” Everything in the machine is $1 so it works perfectly and I was told the machine will reset itself but is there something wrong with machine? Chard Posted December 21, 2017 Share Posted December 21, 2017 More than likely the coin mechanism needs to be rebuilt. It probably has a bad sensor in the nickel tube. AZVendor Posted December 21, 2017 Share Posted December 21, 2017 More than likely you simply need to perform a Tube Fill process by emptying the coin mech, powering the the machine back up with the tubes empty and then from within the Tube Fill option dropping all the coins in for the machine to count so it knows it has correct change. This is when you are running MDB in the machine because the machine counts coins even though you would think the coin tube sensors are all the machine would look at.
