taysha
Anyone have tips for moving machines longer distances? I have purchased two Jofemar glass front combo machines that are about 150 miles away. I am renting a truck with a lift gate, but am trying to figure out what I need to do to protect them from damage during the drive.
AngryChris
Strap them to the sides of the truck. It,s also useful to bring 4x4's to sit the machines on if a pallet jack won't fit without having to tip the machines.
Sgolembiewski0903
Ratchet straps will make easy work of moving those machines.
NYCandyMaN
I would do a trailer, and strap them down
winning123
Lift gated truck is ideal, go for the tommy liftgated and not the tuck under liftgates. A trailer is ok but i have the hardest time moving up and down the ramps. Get ratchet ties especially the type that is retractable and strap them to the wall of the truck. MidStateVending
Straps and use cardboard scraps to protect the corners from the straps rubbing on the machine. Don't take any unnecessary risks.
