Lake Cities Vending
Does anybody make a upgrade board for a Lectrovend VS99 board? I thought I saw one once and can't find it again. The board is out on machine and I want to upgrade to accept credit cards. I like the machine, dual spirals, built like a tank. I had the board rebuilt last year and its out again. It will only take dollars and give change but the coin mech want keep change. I may have to retire machine.
AngryChris
Your absolute best bet is to ditch that machine and invest into a much newer model. To take cards, you must be mdb. There MIGHT be a greenwick board out there but you are talking probably $400 for a new board and $300 for mech and val (mdb). That's $700 invested into a machine that doesn't have many parts available for future repair. I see AP 122s in the market now for less than $1800. That's a much newer machine that would only usually need the card reader plugged in. You could also upgrade something like an AP 7600 or 113 for the same $700 and at least have parts available for it.
Lake Cities Vending
I may have to do that. Its just that I have the machine and several coin mech's and dollar changers. Just need the board. So around $400 wouldn't be to bad.
lacanteen
A coin mech that won't replenish itself is not a VMC issue, it's a bad coin mech. If it's just quarters that won't fill, make sure the low quarter option is turned off on the coin mech.
AZVendor
No upgrade boards for Lectrovends. 99% of them are in scrapyards.
Lake Cities Vending
I switched coin mech and the same thing happened. May try another one.
