AngryChris
I cannot help you with that because that machine is so far beyond obsolete it is now a collector's item.
Snoopy
Which machine do you have (make and model)? If you a model with the shelves it can be used as any other snack machine. If you have one that has the product suspended, buy the plastic hangers on amazon.com, but don't try heavy products such as Honey Buns, they will not hold for long. I still employ about 20 of those from our Tom's days. They are well built machines, in my opinion and work well in small accounts.
AZVendor
Then you aren't a professional vendor snoopy or your part of the country doesn't expect real machines, or you don't expect good volume from those accounts.
Snoopy
Guess not AZV, just do it to pay my bills for the last umtine years. You should rethink your responses, not all of us live in the big city and draw the big accounts...lol...this is the way I make my living, whether you like it or not. AZVendor
I had my share of small accounts over the years and still provided good machines that could take coins and bills, though I did experiment with Rowe 499s for a while. I never wanted a competitor to come in and offer anything more than I had. I knew my response wouldn't sound very kind but I didn't mean to make it sound unkind, it was just my honest opinion of how vending should be run. Probably wan't fair of me to say it that way. My apologies. I will come across of matter of fact on many topics covering old, antiquated machines that no longer have a place in vending whether it's a Tom's machine, a Savamco, an Edina, a Choice Vend, etc. I can't help myself because I want all vendors to always be looking to be as professional as possible and not to be like their lower competition. The business needs to always drive itself forward, not backward or be stagnant
Snoopy
Not a problem. But if you take good care of a good machine, to include paint and working parts, I believe any machine will do the job and look very professional. I take a lot of pride in all my machines and accounts, I have from time to time replaced the high end companies who don't provide honestly professional service. It is kinda funny that most of my "modern day equipment" is at my slower accounts...just works out that way..lol. Enough time spent on defending my honor, I have an install to do this morning, replacing another vendor with newer equipment (it's all about the service). Have a good day.
