Team Money Vending
Hey Rodney69, Great question/post/topic! Do you mind sharing a bit more information on what your desired outcome is? Are you looking to basically utilize it to track inventory levels and all other servicing notes or do you have other plans? Thanks,
rodney69
I want to use it to bring up a spreadsheet, but out would need to be password protected or something since there's data involved. May need to be something else, but it would be used for an employee to bring up the tracking sheet for a location.
Team Money Vending
I believe a QR code could be scanned by the employee at each location which would allow them to pull up the spread sheet and update it. This could include a time stamp and gps coordinates for the location. I wish I had working experience to help you but none the less this is a very interesting idea and I have to believe someone on this thread is utilizing this technology. rodney69
Maybe, but the catch will be that just anyone can't come up and scan it to get the info or take then to the location spreadsheet. I'll probably use anther program, but I wonder if this can be worked in.
Team Money Vending
You can make the excel document password protected that way one would need a code to access it. Might be worth testing to make sure it stays password protected when accessed from a device. Good luck!
