Snack mach breaker popping

Recommended Posts

start by unplugging everything except the power cord from the power box. There will be a small plug that sends power to the board and a larger plug sending power to the lights. If it still trips, either the breaker is weak (replace it), or the transformer is bad. If it does not trip, then power down, plug in the small connector, then unplug the changer and bill acceptor. If it trips, the computer board is likely bad, if it does not trip, power down, plug in the changer, power up. If it trips, bad changer, if not, power down, plug in the bill acceptor, power up.

That breaker is protecting the 24VAC secondary from the transformer. It is most likely the changer as dimes get loose and short something inside. I had you disconnect the light to get rid of any high voltage, but if the breaker holds after everything but the light is plugged in, then the ballast may have gone south on you. LCM is a very simple machine. The above steps will point to the problem within a few minutes.

Thank you so much! I will try it. Do you know what model changers are compatible to that machine?
