vendingfora cause
I bought some Cry Baby Sour Guts from Sam;s special ordered, it took about 1.5 months to get, I placed into my machines, serviced my machines after 3-6 months, gumballs were rock hard! Weather was cold, but not that cold I live in California. What would cause gumballs to get hard? Thank you
deee_z
Ya, cold temps and age of the balls cause them to get rock hard.

Sometimes Sam's throws them on a reefer and they get chilled and hard. The main issues I have are with heat. They'll get sunbaked, soften, them cool and become rocks. Zigzag Vending
My regular gumballs get cold (it's Kansas after all) but it just takes chewing them and warming them up and they're fine. Sales don't seem to drop off when they get hard like that. But I definitely would rather they stay soft. Just part of the territory I guess.
