orsd
What make and model? How much water damage? Fresh or salt water? If fresh water: If it's an old 368 or 440 I'd pull to coin mech and bill validator and cooling deck. Rest is scrap, there are too many cheap 368's out there for me to use water damaged components that could very well be flakey. If its a newer multi price machine then I'd keep more stuff, especially shims. Depending on water levels and what kind of water (fresh, salt, sewage) I might keep harnesses and motors, but only if they were minimally flooded with known fresh water. I'd also keep the control board, cooling deck and coin mech and validator as possibly rebuildable cores. If it's a common model I'd pull and keep the door, super handy for vandalized/burglarized machines. Salt water: The machine is pretty much all trash. Every electronic component and bit of wiring is junk. Coin mech and Validator may or may not be rebuildable, Shims should be ok if only minimal corrosion, Door may be useful if not corroded. Anything with foam in it is junk, so cabinet and inner door is 100% scrap.
NYCandyMaN
logic board is on top, bill acceptor, coin mech, possibly the motors, compressor is sealed, might need to change a fuse or a relay, but it should work, compressor alone is about $300 to $

I have never paid more than 400 shipped for any soda machine deck. Hell, Vending Works has decks for all major makes for 300. Used decks I have paid anywhere from 20-80. Dixie Bevmax refer decks are at least $750 - don't think Vending Works has them.
