Vendo 540

Is a 540 a V Max? Do all the machines that are V Max machines use the same motors and shims?

The 540 is the 8-select version of the vendo 720 (10-select) and it is a vmax.  Nearly everything should be identical except for cabinet size and other obvious things.

Would you pay $500 for one that is in operation? It comes with

"10 all new motors, NEW temp. sensor, NEW coin mech, NEW dollar validator with warranty until 5-11-18. Also I'm throwing in a new control board, I bought a extra one and never used it it's still in the box "

The owner will transport it to me (a mile or so) for a small fee.

I don't believe that all those things are new.

But a good used 540 in good shape is easily worth 500, if it's not Pepsi owned.

Believe me, I'll look. I've had enough problems in my life to know better than to take possession of stolen property.

I thought it was a good price. The location wants a glass front according to the ad.

I went and looked at the machine. It is half full of Coke products. It still has a Pepsi tag on it, for what that is worth.

Call Pepsi and ask because I bought one that had only coke in it still owned by Pepsi

I sent a text and a picture of the tag to this address. Do you think that will get the information for me? Or should I call the nearest bottler or distributor?

Whichever company is on the tag, call.

So if it is Pepsi bottling group, call them. There are a couple main bottlers and a load of smaller ones for Pepsi, depends on the area.
