yummysmurf
I am having problems with the claw bouncing. The claw will drop and lift a little constantly. When I turn the unit off, the claw will slowly lower to the bottom. I've included a link to the video file. http://www.gobananaslangley.com/documents/20180412_085347.mp4
NoRefunds
Boing boing boing boing boing yes the famous rainbow/sugarloaf bounce. That motor uses a built in clutch as the brake to hold that claw. You can try to completely disassemble that motor and thoroughly clean it and that clutch disk but it's best just to replace the motor. Also the gearbox attached to it is probably stripped as well. I've found that motor online for $85 which isn't that bad, consider it the cost of one service call. That gantry and motor assembly is a pain to disassemble just go slow and be sure both up/down switches are functioning correct when reassembled. It will last for years after that. Good machines. google jordan amusements for that up/down motor.
