maestro489
I've got a ba30 in a Rowe Jr, with a 9340L coin mech that's not giving credit. It accepts coins and gives change. It accepts the bill but doesn't give credit so you can't buy anything. Any ideas?

maestro489
My question is, is this a validator issue or coin mech issue?
AngryChris
Likely a validator or harness issue. The coin mech shouldn't determine the credit on a multiprice machine like it does on a single price machine. I'd throw the whole machine away lol.
AZVendor
It's either the coin mech not accepting the pulse or the validator not putting the pulse out. You need to test it with another BA or Mag 30 or 50 with the switches set to match what yours are now to see if it's the validator. If you get the same result then it's the coin mech. Or you can test it with another 9340L mech first. Your choice. Or take both to your local rebuilder and have them tested.
