VendUSA
Eagle tells me that they need to be modified to fit the oaks, anyone in the know on this? The 25 cent Eagle mechs work perfectly on my Oaks curious why 50 cent might not. Thanks
AMD Snacks
50cent mechs on oaks have a groove/cavity for the chute door to not hit the vista's. they don't need it on the big oaks, even tho physically the mech fits both machines. Not sure what the 50 cent eagle mech looks like, but that might be the issue
rodney69
You have toi take a pair of pliers or a die grinder to break or cut the inner lip of the oak so the mech can slide down. I've converted all of mine. Eagle .50 March is considerably better than oak
BCB434
Does this mech need to be modified to fit Oak Vistas?
rodney69
You'll need to trim or break the lip on the left side (from the front view) in about 1/2"
petersvending
I ordered some 25-50 cent conversion kits from NEN late last year when I needed to convert my 25 cent Northwestern mech to .50. They were 8 or 9 a piece. Included everything you needed to do it. Had to trim a little off of one of the pieces just a pinch other then that it worked fine. I think AA Global and Cardinal are now distributing NW parts now. Dont know about new machines or whatever but I know they have parts now. What parts? No idea youll have to call and ask them.
