Snack Man 2000 Posted June 14, 2018 Share Posted June 14, 2018 I have a machine that was working fine before placing it. Got it on location, and now it won't accept coins, but will take dollars and give nothing. It has an error code 5 cco. The coin mech is full of change, and appears to be fine. Any suggestions? BTVFC Posted June 14, 2018 Share Posted June 14, 2018 (edited) The code is a communication error with the coin mech, only when using the MDB interface. Check your connections, and reset the error code by pressing and holding any selection switch for 2 seconds when the error code appears on the display. It's a Univendor, right? Univendor controllers have the capability for both. The error may just have been a glitch. Try resetting it. Snack Man 2000 Posted June 14, 2018 Author Share Posted June 14, 2018 I didn't really pay that much attention to it. I just know it had a 24v mdb coin mech in it when I got it, snd it did work. I sold it, and now it won't accept change. Maybe the coin mech is bad. It is an old coinco that says mdb on the front. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
