MikeWinningVendors
Ok so please just tell me if I’m sol... The 501E door is open. My remote key is not paired with the lock. I do not have the original key... I pressed the switch on the inside by accident and the handle moved into the horizontal lock position as it should... The door’s still open. The light on the triteq device doesn’t go on. Am I fucked? Lol
Popular Post lacanteen
My understanding is that it must be unlocked to pair. At this point you have nothing to lose by trying. You may have spider webs in the tube that goes from the button to the sensor. You have to remove the mechanism, but it's no big deal, just a few bolts. Otherwise, get a nice bottle of your favorite adult beverage, your favorite play list, and call TriTeq.
AZVendor
Replace it with a regular T-handle and be done with that crap.

MikeWinningVendors
Yea the light doesn’t go on to pair with it in the locked position. Guess I gotta call Pepsi... Or just remove it and be done with it
putrevus
I recently had the problem with Vendo HVV, the lock would not open, it is long and expensive process to deal with Triteq. I would love to know if these locks can replaced with regular T handle locks???
Corvus Corax
Have you tried replacing the battery in the key fob.

They had versions that would replace an OEM t-handle, but I don't think the Pepsi HVV ever had one.

Did you ever had to call Pepsi to unlock the key or change the key for these HVVs. Other than this Lock , I have had zero issue with Vendo 721 or vendo 621s. As I said earlier, check the small tube that sends the IR signal to the sensor for spider webs, and make sure the machine is level if you move it. Corvus Corax
Isn't there a cheat wire you can get from triteq? If the door is open, can't you just trigger the lock with a 9 volt battery?
lacanteen
The "cheat wire" is to provide power to the lock if there is no power.
