DenVend
I purchased a refurbed DN 501E four years ago. I can't seem to find a manufacture date anywhere, even on the model/serial number tag. Does anyone know how or where I can find this information?
lacanteen
Last 2 letters of the serial number. The first is the quarter (A, B, C, or D). The last letter is the year. "O" is 1990, "P" is 1991, "Q" is 1992 and so forth.

AZVendor
It doesn't really matter what year your E model was built unless you want to ensure you don't get one of the first ones that used a wierd tank edge filler at the front of the cabinet. Even if you had an original logic board you could easily replace it with a newer version and then reprogram your display to work with it. These issues don't generally exist anymore so you really have no concerns regarding manufacturing dates.
DenVend
I just needed to know the approximate age for valuation purposes. No escaping the taxman.
orsd
At this point they are all well past the IRS lifespan for equipment. And age literally does not affect value at this point.
