vender4321 Posted September 4, 2018 Share Posted September 4, 2018 Hi,. I have one single bevmax 5800 machine that won't allow a credit card reader to connect. I had to factory reset the machine. AZVendor Posted September 5, 2018 Share Posted September 5, 2018 The card reader must be the first thing plugged into the MDB port on the board then the validator and coin mech plug in in that order. If the machine says Cash Only then you don't have enough signal strength to make a card sale. Either an external antenna or high gain antenna might help. You should always mock up a card reader with the antenna exposed and run an RSSI reading to verify signal strength before installing the card reader. A new card reader will always first download a firmware update, if the signal is strong enough, before you can use it. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
