tblake05
We've got a different key for each machine. 15 machines total. Is there a way to simplify and make them all the same? And your opinions on that. Security issues?
cvending
We have all snack one key, all drink one key, all coffee one key, everything else one key. Simplifies things greatly. You can buy these several places. Google vending locks
Randymire
I’ve got 52 machines on location, all keyd alike . You can go to a vending supply house and tell them you’d like however many locks you need all keyd alike , they’ll probably have to order them with as many keys as you want . They’ll also give you a number for those locks , when you order new locks or more keys you’ll use this number to order the same locks . I’ve got one key for myself, one for my route driver and a spare . It’s makes life a lot easier.
tblake05
Right, plus having one on my car keychain in case I have to unjam a coin mech or validator without having to run home and grab a tackle box with 15 different keys. Wonder if a locksmith can get all my locks keyed the same. Thanks for the info guys. Much appreciated.

tblake05
Great, thanks. So, This lock, will fit your standard t-handle, and I can give them the code stamped on the back of my key to have them all keyed alike? Think that is totally worth the money to have one key instead of 15, http://www.lsidepot.com/cart.php?m=product_detail&p=27&quantity=5&riID
orsd
Yup. One note is that the code is assigned by them, then you use that code to order more locks in the future from them. But any locks ordered with that code will be keyed alike. And that lock (and any other lock sold as vending plug locks) will fit 99% of vending machines out there with T and L handles. And it will 100% fit any machine from a major US mfg.
