just looking for a little info on this machine.

whats it worth in good shape and working order ( just a ball park #).

is it a dependable machine?

what was the last year that model was made?

I would guess the AP4000 series ended production in the early to mid 80's when the bill validator started to appear. They are a work horse which is obvious due to the fact that after 25 years it is still functioning. I have an AP4000 manual dated 1982 and a AP7000 manual dated 1986. Value is dependent on if it has been kitted, what condition it is in, what type of coin handling it has, etc.

if it has a bill validator... make sure its mdb, the non-mdb kits are unreliable. The way to check is to see it accepts it more than 1 bill... it will accept the first bill, vend the product but it won't take the next bill but it will take coins...
