MikeAndIkeTurner
Does anyone use table top candy machines? Does it effect your business in any negative ways?
gumball guy
I assume you are talking about bulk candy/gumball machines. I have never used them because of all the drawbacks ..... taking up valuable counter space, easier to steal, can hurt someone if the get knocked over or off the counter are just a few. It's easier to place a bulk machine in a business if you are proposing to place it in an open space past the point of sale or an empty spot somewhere in the business that doesn't impede them conducting their business. There is a reason you don't see tons of counter top bulk vending machines in the field.
MikeAndIkeTurner
Valid points. What if you mod suction cups to the bottom of it to prevent a couple of those cons?
gumball guy
Suction cups would be the only way to go. Without them the machine would move around when you attempted to operate it. Above I was just listing some of the challenges that have kept me away from going in that direction so if the idea interests you go for it. As long as you can make the machine stable it never hurts to try it. if you do go forward with it keep us informed on how it is going. Good luck.
