AngryChris Posted December 31, 2018 Share Posted December 31, 2018 It is 100% a National but the exact model number is difficult for me to recognize. The newer models (based off of National 15x cabinets and up) are MDB and obviously not as old, but this one could be based off of a 147/148 and that would be very undesirable in my opinion. The problem with the national combos such as those is that it is difficult, if not impossible, to get to the refrigeration deck and/or fix the deck. Parts might not be available and something as simple as a bad temp sensor board will render the deck useless. I had 4 National combos (based off of 147/148 and 145/146) and I scrapped all but one because all but one had problems. In fact, the oldest one (national 142) is the only one that still cools. I'm not saying to not get it but the value can be anywhere from $0 to $1,500 depending on the model number and how badly you need one. If you don't really need it though, don't bother buying it.
