T BIRD Posted April 12, 2009 Posted April 12, 2009 I had a case of 8500 gum balls delivered the other day. At first when I started this business, I would see them in competitor's machines and not think of it as a great idea as far as vending them. Then I got to thinking that they can be vended like candy thru a candy wheel so the customer is getting a hand full of them. And they look pleasing and colorful in the cannister. So I want to try them. I know the profit wont be as high as a single gum ball, but besides that what other pros and cons are there about this size gum?
markvend Posted April 13, 2009 Posted April 13, 2009 They definitely stay fresher longer - that's a real pro. I can't get them to sell near as well as a 1" gumball though. I was really surprised. Some locations though insist on small gum so kids don't get choked - this is a great product to use. For some reason, Chickles seem to outsell them for me. Maybe your area will be different. Good luck, Mark
