Jaga
Hi, I'd like to buy a machine that "spins up" - so I would be able to make artistic shapes like this: some of the Gold Medal videos I watch they do not seem to do this. Any advice would be appreciated - thank you.
orsd
I don’t think there is a vending machine that will do that. There are cotton candy machines but they only make a regular ball on a stick.
Jaga
Yes I suspect there are no vending machines that will do anything like that. I am wondering what sort of machine they use in these videos.

I am wondering what sort of machine they use in these videos. I am no cotton candy aficionado but that looks like a standard cotton candy machine. I googled "cotton candy machines" and got a ton of results. Jaga
I have found all kinds of machines for sale, but I am looking for one that can do what is shown in the videos. I am unsure what to buy because of this.
SCOTT1963
I don't think you can buy "talent" because no "machine" will make those
TripleA
They were selling these at the IAAPA expo this year. The spin head produces a much finer floss than a Gold medal type machine and the spin head is surrounded by a fan that pushes this lighter floss vertically. They had 2 machines available, the standard version for $999 and the XL, which could produce it faster and a larger volume, for $1,299. http://www.robolabs.pro/catalog/ROBOLABS/Cotton_Candy/Machines/ Scroll to the bottom of the page for the vertical cotton candy machines There was also a vending machine type version at the show that used air pressure to help form the various shapes. It was pretty impressive! They were asking $7,500 FOB China. https://youtu.be/JfaCFSnN2bE
brendio
That vending machine looks unfinished. You put the coin in, but need a key to open the door to insert the stick, and then again at the end you need a key to open the door to get the product.
