Version 3.0?

I am getting impatient!    Any timetable for rolling out Version 3.0?  Also, do you have any preview of new features/improvements?

Well that makes two of us!  I am ainxiously awaiting being able to launch Version 3.0 as well.  We hit a couple of snags that slowed down development both technical (back-end framework) and personal (some minor health issues on the team). 

We are taking a little extra time to ensure that the database & web interface are as smooth as possible.  A lot of what is in Version 3.0 is on the back-end, so it won't look too different.  But it should be much faster to flip through the pages.  A lot of this back-end stuff, too, will allow us to easily add enhancements after the launch.

That said, there are some new features that are being incorporated.  Most notably will be the Route section and how it integrates with live maps.  We are introducing a new chart/graph application that will allow us to build better charts on the fly.  There are also several additions that are being implimented baed on user suggestions.

We appreciate the patience while we finish up, though.  Once we get close, we will probably open it for beta testing to work out the final bugs and get some feedback.  Based on how the beta-test goes, the official "launch" will follow shortly.
