andyinchville Posted April 19, 2009 Posted April 19, 2009 Hi All, I have the chance to buy another Toms (Polyvend?) H-22 snack machine (22 selections). The machine is reported to work fine and has all the spirals. The machine is cosmetically good. It is a change only...no bill validator. Also, just curious BUT if I get the machine at a good enough price would it be very difficult to add a bill validator?.... The only thing don' t like about the machine is that the product must have a hole in it (or you have to punch one) to attach it to the spiral or you hav2 to add a self stick tah to whatever you want to vend. I have the perfect place to place it along with one of my U Turns. Thanks! Andrew
Technivend Posted April 19, 2009 Posted April 19, 2009 I believe at one point there was a kit available to add a bill acceptor. However, it is throwing good money after bad as the machine is just to old to justify the expense. Personally, I wouldn't take it if it was given to me.
leviholt Posted September 20, 2009 Posted September 20, 2009 I don't want to be mean but its is about as much as you can get at a scrape yard. We started as a tom's dist years ago. The big thing is that you have to bag or tag about every thing you put in them in heat the tabs lose there glue and it falls. Then when some one shakes then you lose a ton of stuff. We had about 250 that we took to the scrap yard and we sold 2 full loads on a 28 ft uhaul truck for 1000.00 about 8 or 9 years ago
mxer518 Posted September 20, 2009 Posted September 20, 2009 I would not even get involved on one of these things, it will be more of a pain than it will ever be worth.....
vendingsolutions Posted September 24, 2009 Posted September 24, 2009 hello there, I have 2 toms H22 on location for almost a year and half, man those are a good working horses, thanks to this machines now I have 9 full size soda and snack machines on location from the profits generated from my toms. ;)
mxer518 Posted September 25, 2009 Posted September 25, 2009 I would take them for free so that I could take them to the scrap yard and make about 10 dollars each getting rid of them.

andyinchville Posted September 27, 2009 Author Posted September 27, 2009 HI, Thanks for the link.....Although I prefer to have tray models, an older machine with a bill validator should be worth that! Thanks again. Andrew
